A FEW QUALITY OF INDONESIAN MOVIE

Now when we talk about Indonesian movie, people would think that the movie is horror genre, and it doesn't quality yet. Yes it’s true, I think that the Indonesia movies still in progress to become quality movie. But, some people rather like to watch western movie than they own movie country. Why? I asked my friends that he told me “Indonesia films are not so qualified because there are a plethora of genre horror movie is inserted by "hot scene".”. And maybe our opinions about Indonesian movie will same. But in fact that much of Indonesian movie are doesn't quality, there’s a few quality Indonesia movie. There like,

1.     Laskar Pelangi
Laskar Pelangi (The Rainbow Troops) is a 2008 Indonesian film adapted from the popular novel same titled by Andrea Hirata. The movie follows a group of 10 schoolboys and their two inspirational teachers as they struggle with poverty and develop hopes for the future in Gantong Village on the farming and tin mining island of Belitung off the east coast of Sumatra. The film is the highest grossing in Indonesian box office history and won a number of local and international awards.

The movie, set in the 1970s, opens on the first day of the year at a Muhammadiyah elementary school on Belitung. The school needs 10 students but is one short until near the end of the day, when a straggler fills out the ranks for their teachers, Muslimah and Harfan. Muslimah dubs the children "The Rainbow Troops" (sometimes translated as "The Rainbow Warriors") and the movie traces their development and relationships with the teachers.

2.     Merah Putih
Merah Putih is a historical fiction drama film released in 2009 in Indonesia and the first part of the film series "Freedom Trilogy" which is the film trilogy's first struggle in Indonesia. The film was directed by Yadi Sugandi and released under the motto "For freedom they are united". The film stars among by Lukman Sardi, Donny Alamsyah, Darius Sinathrya, ZumiZola, Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Rahayu Saraswati, Rudy Wowor, and Astri Nurdin.

The story tells of the struggle against Dutch troops in 1947. Amir (Lukman Sardi), Tomas (Donny Alamsyah), Dayan (Teuku Rifnu), Soerono (Zumi Zola), and Marius (Darius Sinathrya) are the top five cadets in training at a military barracks in Semarang, Central Java Bantir. Each has a different background, ethnic, and religious. One time, the camps where they train soldiers attacked the Dutch. The entire cadet except Amir, Tomas, Dayan and Marius was killed. Those who escaped joined the guerrilla forces in the interior of Java. There, they meet a lot of strategy to beat the Dutch troops.

3.     Catatan (Harian) Si Boy

The film made history as a lesson today about tolerance, coexistence (in collaboration with different beliefs), wrapped in religious violence, and the spirit of change is less.  Sang Pencerah figures reveal that the national hero of the side that is not widely known. In addition to establishing the Islamic organization Muhammadiyah, the man firmly establishing it also raised as a Muslim reformer in Indonesia. He introduced the modern face of Islam, openly, and rationally.

Yeah, although there are only few of Indonesian quality films, but it could be a milestone in the development of Indonesian films to be more advanced and can compete with western movies. So we have to support the development film Indonesia if we want Indonesian movie to become more qualityOf course there are still more movie that have good quality, but it's only 4 movie that i can tell you the synopsis.
